Our Dioxide Experiment Racing team has successfully participated in the Hellenic Finals of the F1 in Schools Greece Competition. In particular, for the first time a team was formed to represent the 2nd Model Gymnasium & Lyceum of Athens in this competition. Unfortunately, we were unable to qualify to the world finals, which will be held in 2024, due to insufficient experience, know-how and financial support compared to the other teams. However, the effort of our team was not “wasted”, as we and the winning team of the competition were awarded the “Innovative Thinking” prize which highlights the innovative and unique design of our car. Obviously, we are not discouraged by the results of this year’s competition, but rather they are a source of inspiration and motivation to continue our efforts, declaring participation again for the 2023-2024 time period. We assure you that we will return with more tenacity, persistence and methodology to challenge for the distinction of our team in the world finals.
